Detailed Description
A 1962 Balvenie single malt from Chapter 5 of the DCS Compendium, hand-selection by Malt Master David Stewart and representing the year that he started at William Grant & Sons. Bottled after more than five decades in a single European oak hogshead, this whisky has aromas of sweet dried fruit, apricots and delicate cinnamon spice. The palate is rich and velvety, with notes of toffee, honeycomb, vanilla, orange peel and ginger, that fade into a citrussy, spicy finish.
