Eagle Rare 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was matured for a minimum of ten years in new, American oak casks under the intense, Kentucky sun. As a result of its decade-long beauty rest, the bourbon has a golden honey color, along with an aroma of gentle toast, fresh tobacco, and bananas. The aroma gives way to notes of chocolate, almonds, melons, raisins and dried fruits on the palate, which are complemented by a subtle vanilla undertone. The finish is long and fierce, with hints of roasted nuts and corn.

• Nose: Aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather and oak.
• Palate: Bold, dry, oaky flavors with notes of candied and very rich cocoa.
• Finish: Dry and lingering.

Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon is highly distinct from the majority of other bourbons on the market which are made from a mash of malted barley, rye, and corn. Wheat serves as the replacement for rye in the recipe. To ensure consistency, every barrel is rotated by hand and the bourbon is aged to taste, not time. This ‘wheated’ bourbon, is crafted from red winter wheat, and bottled at 90 proof.

• Nose: Woody oak, vanilla and what prevail in the nose.
• Palate: Sweet and balanced with caramel, vanilla and fruity essences.
• Finish: Smooth and subtle.
