Detailed Description

Reyes y Cobardes Duragensis is made with maguey Cenizo in El Venado, Durango. The town of El Venado has a total population of 140 people, and the surrounding area is mostly unpopulated. This mezcal is made by Don Jorge Garcia, who is 3rd generation mezcalero. He harvests his agave from the hills on his property. This mezcal is distilled in a clay pot still. There is a signature cheesy aroma and taste to all of this mezcals.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Lingering finish.
