Detailed Description
Serving as the brand’s gateway expression, the Admiral Rodney HMS Princessa Rum gets its name from a Spanish vessel captured by the British in 1780 and, as part of Rodney’s flotilla, distinguished itself as a flagship of the rear in the Battle of the Saintes. Each batch of this rum begins its life as a selection of 5 to 9-year-old rums that were distilled from high-quality Guyanese molasses using a 45-plate Coffey still and aged in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels. Under the careful supervision of Master Blender Evanus Harris, the rums are then meticulously married to create the desired flavor and texture before being brought to proof and then finally being packaged in elegant glass bottles that showcase its gorgeous deep mahogany hue.
