Michter’s 2017 25 Year Old Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: Complex whiskey great mouthfeel. A symphony of flavors plays at different points on the palate with molasses, holiday spice, chocolate, smoke roasted nuts, dried fruit, melted butter and vanilla providing the highlights.
Finish: Long and rich.
Distillery Information
Bomberger’s Distillery, more recently Michter’s Distillery, is a non-operating distillery facility that was, at the end of the twentieth century, believed to be the oldest remaining such building in the United States. The distillery closed in 1989 and may have since been demolished.
