Detailed Description
Ransom Emerald whiskey is named for the “emerald isle” of Ireland. The whiskey is said to be the recreation of an Irish mash bill uncovered in historical records and reproduced at the Oregon distillery. It is made from a blend of 67% malted barley, 7% unmlated barley, 15% rye, and 12% oat.

Distillery Information
Situated in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, Ransom Distillery sits on a 40-acre farm just outside Sheridan, Oregon. The distillery, which opened its doors in 1997, was named after the funds required to start the business.
