Detailed Description
Bozal Barril is made with maguey Barril (agave Karwinskii), which is a tall, wide agave that is often used to create live fences for livestock and agricultural enclosures. This mezcal is made in Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca, which is famous for it’s tradition of distilling in small clay pots.

Nose: The aromatics are herbaceous and spicy with notes of forest grass and anise flower.
Palate: A slight sweetness is evident on the unctuous palate with flavors of agave, honey and river stone.
Finish: Finishing with a floral aftertaste.
