Don’t be put off by the name, Murder Lane from The Dublin Liberties is a vibrant single malt whiskey! The 13 Year Old sees an initial maturation in bourbon barrels before its transferred to Hungarian Tokaj wine casks for a finish, imparting a sweet and slightly syrupy flavour profile. The Dublin Liberties 13 Year Old Murder Lane Single Malt Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Bounty bar, vanilla macaroons and icing sugar, with almond butter and creamy vanilla pod.
Palate: Chocolate-dipped marzipan, tinned peaches in syrup, with coconut cream, nectarine and vanilla cake batter.
Finish: Lots of dried apricot and honey.
