Well, they’ve used ex-bourbon, Port, Madeira and Sherry casks for this one, imparting plenty of complexity and character. Stunning stuff, this is. Irish whiskey fans, take note.
Kilbeggan 21 Year Old Blended Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Ripe banana and creamy oatmeal with nutmeg.
Palate: There’s a lot going on here… Tea, mint, oak, dried grains, citrus fruit, caramel, marmalade, and more.
Finish: A warm, seasoned vanilla cream drifts slowly away.

Cooley Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery, located on the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth, Ireland, converted in 1987 from an older potato alcohol plant by John Teeling.
