El Ultimo reposado tequila is the rested (“reposado”) expression from this particular label aging for at least 6 months in American oak. The Tequila Whisperer has fine things to say about the “Ultimo” line of tequilas. In a July 2010 review, for example, TW reports to the world that El Ultimo “is a champion [in its price range] that just can’t beat.”

Nose: Clean, agave-forward, with notes of caramel.
Palate: Clean, agave-forward, notes of caramel and toast, slight spice.
Finish: Spicy finish.
