Detailed Description
Spectacular single malt from Allt-á-Bhainne, distilled on 26th July 2000 and independently bottled up by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection! After two decades resting in hogshead casks, including a final eight months in a single fresh sherry butt, the whisky was bottled up in April 2021 at a cask strength of 52.4% ABV. A release of 703 bottles.

Nose: Dark chocolate digestives, sherried fruit with cherries, dates, raisins followed by rich, sweet oak.
Palate: Nutty malt, jammy berries, and dark chocolate with tangy dried fruits. More rich raisin sweetness with warming spices creeping in.
Finish: Mocha, dates, creamy barley lead to dense oak, sweet, mouthcoating spices with gentle prickles of pepper.
