Detailed Description
The White Oak distillery is perhaps the least known of Japan’ whisky producers. The distillery was founded by in 1888 to produce sake, and because of this, has a legitimate claim of being the country’s oldest whisky producer. In 1919, Eigashima Shuzo obtained a license to make whisky — four years before Yamazaki was built. This White Oak Akashi was matured in a bourbon barrel for 5 years. This is a first fill whisky presented in a box. If you want to try something truly exotic with only limited number of bottles ever released, then this bottle should be for you!
