Detailed Description
Westland Distillery Deacon Seat American Single Malt whiskey is the fore-runner and first release of their self-proclaimed flagship expression. It is a younger whiskey aged for 2 years in heavy char American Oak barrels (#4 char). Like the flagship expression, it uses a blend of 5 different malts; all 5 grains are produced in Washington State and 4 come from craft brewers (something the Pacific Northwest is justly famous for).
