Texas- Born from a 100% mash of blue corn, this whisky is forged in a variety of new charred oak barrels for a bold and complex character that invokes the spirit of Texas. This is a big full bodied whisky, with a rich midpalate, coating mouthfeel and long finish.
Balcones Texas Blue Corn Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh vanilla, coffee bean and a hearty dollop of honey.
Palate: Cigar box, chocolate truffle, still quite nutty. A burst of spicy cinnamon at the core.
Finish: Molasses, caramel and a hint of fried bread.
