Mortlach 22 Year Old Chieftain’s Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Dry oak; Salt n’ Straw “Double Fold” vanilla ice cream; rum raisin; dark chocolate.
Palate: Very creamy, oily mouth-feel. Yum, yum. Caramel fudge.
Finish: Long, chewy, savory.

Mortlach distillery is a distiller of Scotch whisky in Dufftown, Moray, Scotland. Founded in 1823, the distillery is currently owned by Diageo. The whisky is a key component in several Johnnie Walker bottlings., while Diageo also markets four Mortlach single malts. The still pictured above is Dufftown distillery.
