A limited release from Highland Park, the Capella Special Edition contains a mix of exquisite, old and very rare whiskies to mark the significance of the Italian Chapel built during 1942 and 1945 at Camp 60, a WW2 prisoner of war camp on the little island of Lamb Holm on Orkney.

Highland Park Capella Special Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Honey, apricot, plum, a little smoked and salty.

Palate: Light influence of sherry: caramel, vanilla, fruit cake. A little creamy. Pretty alive in attack, then it softens afterwards.

Finish: Short.

Highland Park distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery based in Kirkwall, Orkney. It is the northernmost in Scotland, half a mile beyond the Scapa distillery.
