Alligator Bay Dark Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: This chocolate flavored rum has a buttery aroma with distinct notes of oak and toffee.

Palate: The palate reveals succulent flavor notes wrapped in a velvety smooth texture that leaves just the right amount of chocolatey goodness on the lips.

Located in Punta Gorda, Florida, Alligator Bay Distillers started as a venture by two brothers who sought to showcase the unique flavors of Florida rum through craft expressions. After gaining distilling experience during 2-year apprenticeship stint at the Haleakala Distillers, Alex Voss and his brother Ben began producing their rum in 2015 using a “cane to bottle” approach that helped build their reputation within the state and to the rest of the country.
