Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: Powerful and boldly spicy, candied fruits reveal a depth of toffee, fresh roasted coffee, nutmeg and coconut.
Finish: A long finish ends with notes of fresh-cut grass.
Distillery Information
Rio Brazos Distillery is located in College Station and is owned by Nathan Barkman. The craft distillery opened in December 2013. The distillery is situated in a warehouse space next to Perrine Winery – Dowling Rd and New Republic Brewing which makes for a nice little destination in College Station. The Rio Brazos Distillery makes whiskey from small batches of sweet, yellow corn and roasted barley malts that are cooked in a kettle and distilled in a 500-gallon reflux pot still.
