A bottle of Willet Family Estate Bottled Small Batch Rye. This was matured for two years in selected white oak casks, and bottled at cask strength.
Willett White Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: High alcohol content and spiciness of the Rye surprise the nose with power before toasted oak and toffee appear.
Palate: Taken neat, it’s a powerful dram. Flavors mingle with frolic stone fruits, vanilla, cherry and baking spices that come the surface.
Finish: It has a solid and complex finish normally only found in older spirits.

Willett Distillery, also known as Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, Ltd., is a private family-owned and -operated company that produces bourbon and rye whiskey. Over the years the company has bottled whiskeys that range from 2 years of aging maturity all the way up to 28 years.
