A rare example of sherried 1966 vintage Inchgower from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Distilled in May, it was aged for 35 years in first fill sherry and bottled in June 2001 at an incredible 67.5%.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.
Palate: Firm, powerful. A well-balanced attack gives equal footing to aromas of peat, smoke, spices.
Finish: Very smooth and flavorful.
Distillery Information
Inchgower distillery is a whisky distillery producing a single malt of the same name located on the outskirts of Buckie, Moray, Scotland. The distillery was built in 1871 to replace Tochineal Distillery but liquidated in 1903.
