Detailed Description

A 1966 vintage whisky bottled by Gordon & Macphail in 2006 as part of their Secret Stills series. Aged in sherry casks 1450 and 1451 for the best part of four decades, this is from distillery number 2 – Cragganmore.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Cragganmore is a Scotch whisky distillery situated in the village of Ballindalloch in Banffshire, Scotland. The distillery was founded in 1869 by John Smith.
