Detailed Description
Mezcalosfera Espadin con Cacao is made by Margarito Cortes, who comes from a family that has been producing traditional mezcal for many generations. He works closely with all of the agave that he uses for his mezcal, and he is known for experimenting with the addition of different ingredients in an extra third distillation, similar to a Pechuga. For this mezcal, he added mango and habanero during the third distillation. The agave were roasted with mezquite and encino wood. It was fermented for seven days, and distilled in a cobre con refrescadera still. There were 287 litres of this made in November 2016.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.
