An aged jenever produced as part of the KETEL 1 range by the Nolet Distillery in Schiedam, The Netherlands (the same folks behind the fantastic Ketel One vodka). This stuff packs a hearty helping of vanilla sweetness alongside the classic robust juniper-y deliciousness.

Ketel 1 Matuur Jenever Gin | 1L Tasting Note

Nose: Malty juniper with linseed, cinnamon, nutmeg, bamboo, vanilla, white pepper and very faint wisps of smoke.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Finish is smooth and long.
