Before the whole craft distiller white dog movement, which started because distillers needed a way to start turning a profit while their “real” whiskey aged, Georgia Moon existed just ‘cos it could and wanted to. Unaged corn whisky with the ballsy age statement of “less than 30 days.” This is as close to the real deal as you’re gonna get without being chased under cover of night for your illegal hooch.

Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: It has a funky sweet and herbal smell, not unlike a rhum agricole – all dried fruits, sage and tarragon.

Palate: On the palate it tastes a lot like rum raisin ice cream, with less of that herbal quality that was present in the aroma.

Finish: Finish is soft and long-lasting.
