Detailed Description

Fremont Mischief Whiskey is distilled from a mash bill of 90% rye and 10% malted barley. The whiskey is pot distilled in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle before it is aged for 8 years in medium toasted once-used bourbon barrels. Because the barrels used aren’t new, it can’t be labeled a rye whiskey.

Fremont Mischief Rye Mash Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Rye-spice vanilla aromas.

Palate: All the spice is there and floral/grassy complexity but more rich oak notes.

Finish: A high arching finish that sustains the whiskey on the palate.
