Cardinal Spirits Walnut Nocino is one of their seasonal releases. Nocino is commonly known as an Italian liqueur based upon green (unripe) walnuts and often presented in a deep black. Cardinal Spirits version from Indiana (a far cry from Italy!) is in the traditional style with green walnuts but sweetened with local maple syrup, then bottled at a relatively high 80 proof (the same as neutral vodka).
