Detailed Description
An innovative single malt from Box Distillery in Sweden. Early Days 002 is made using Pilsner malt, some of which is dried over peat fires for added smokiness. The result is a single malt that combines alluring notes of fresh vanilla with a touch of medicinal peat. This batch is a blend of peated (using Scottish peat) and unpeated Swedish single malt, both made with Pilsner malt and matured for over 4 and a half years in 130 litre ex-bourbon casks before being bottled in March 2016.
