Bodegas Hidalgo is a Spanish winery founded in 1792 by Don Jose Pantaleón Hidalgo and continues to be family-run for six generations. Their Hidalgo 200 Solera Gran Reserva brandy was first produced for the winery’s bicentennial. It uses a base brandy that was locked away and untouched for two generations of ownership. This base brandy is then blended with other brandies that have been aged in American oak casks previously used for aging sherry wine.
